Whipporwill Farm Addition

Our favorite state park grew another 41 acres in August with the transfer of Whippoorwill Farm, thanks in large part to the hard working folks at Foothills Conservancy and those who value open lands and healthy waterways around Lake James. With a grant from the North Carolina Clean Water Management Trust Fund, private donations and other sources, the land was preserved for future generations of park visitors.
