The annual Lake James Clean Up is scheduled for March 17. Volunteers are needed to help with this comprehensive effort to remove trash for the Burke County shoreline of Lake James and areas within the state park. (See I&E schedule on page 2)
The inaugural SwimRun Lake James endurance race will be April 7. Two-person teams traverse 3.5 miles of swimming and 13 miles of running, with 26 land-to-water transition points along the way.
